Similar to linking a Dexcom G6 sensor, users will be guided through the whole set-up process of the new sensor when selecting Dexcom G7 from the CGM menu.
As the Dexcom G7 is an all-in-one sensor, there is no longer a separate transmitter pairing process required.
When setting up the Dexcom G7 for the first time within CamAPS FX, users will be asked during the set-up to sign in to a Dexcom account.
The warm-up time for the Dexcom G7 sensor is reduced to 30 minutes compared to 120 minutes with the Dexcom G6 sensor.
