    • mylife Diabetes Care and CamDiab introduce the latest innovation from CamDiab: CamAPS Liberty – the first fully closed-loop option within myLoop

    Burgdorf, Switzerland, 10 March 2026 – mylife Diabetes Care and CamDiab today take the next step in automated insulin delivery by introducing CamAPS Liberty, the only commercially available fully closed-loop feature within the CamAPS FX app. Integrated into myLoop, it is designed to support people in managing type 1 diabetes with less daily effort.

    CamAPS Liberty expands the capabilities of the CamAPS FX app within the myLoop automated insulin delivery (AID) system. When activated, it enables a fully closed-loop mode in which users are not required to count carbohydrates or manually deliver a pre-meal insulin bolus. The feature is powered by a more proactive version of the algorithm that anticipates and responds to glucose changes while maintaining established safety boundaries.

    As part of the existing CamAPS FX app, this innovation is designed to bring extra flexibility and support for people living with type 1 diabetes, particularly during periods of increased diabetes-related demands or distress. It reflects a shared commitment to advancing diabetes care beyond glycaemic outcomes, recognising the importance of mental wellbeing, cognitive load and overall quality of life. With CamAPS Liberty, the partners are pioneering fully closed-loop insulin delivery.

    myLoop combines the YpsoPump insulin pump with the CamAPS FX app, developed by CamDiab Ltd, and compatible continuous glucose monitoring systems.
